Confirmed Guests and Performers to Appear During
The 2015 Gilded Festival

Bad Idea Entertainment

Bad Idea Entertainment

What is better than a bad idea; a bad idea that blows up in someone else's face. We have all seen the juggler and the fire performer; and we have all wondered what could possess them to do that. Bad Idea Entertainment has been toeing that line for the last five years and continues to do so every day.

Doug Stafford is an entertainer with seven years experience under his belt and no regard for either his own modesty or well-being. He has been all across the north east and has brought his own brand of poor taste to your door step.

Captain Zorikh - the Time Traveling Bard

Captain Zorikh - the Time Traveling Bard

Captain Zorikh has swung swords and sung songs in the eras of Vikings, Crusaders, kings, Musketeers, Rebels and Yanks, GI Joe, and Elvis, Johnny, Jerry Lee, and Carl, and in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. He has rolled in the dirt of Eastern Europe, the sand of southern France, the mud of Pennsic, and the mats of Brazilian jiu jitsu. He has been seen with comic book legends, martial arts masters, sci-fi scientists, and big-giant-sword makers. And seldom has there been an experience that has not engendered a song or story from this multi-talented entertainment impresario. And he has done it all with only...three...chords. And a harmonica.

The Wandering Cellist

The Wandering Cellist

The Wandering Cellist (aka Luna Skye) started playing and became obsessed with the cello at age 16. She would fuse this new-found obsession with the passion she had developed years earlier for heavy metal music. This has defined this unorthodox journey she’s taken.

In the years that followed, she got some classical training, started playing in rock bands and began composing her own music – playing in the subways as part of Music Under New York, and freelancing in New York City. She’s traveled the US and Canada playing for Steampunk, Sci-Fi & Gaming Conventions and has released multiple albums, available at http://celloluna.bandcamp.com

Her music fuses her classical training with her love of heavy metal, fantasy, film & folk music. Building layers of cello on top of each other, she creates a world simultaneously dark, beautiful, wonderful, fantastic & breathtaking.
